God Has Kept Me Here For A Reason

God has kept me here for a reason.
I survived because he has a plan for me.

All my bad supervisors,
the bad management choices,
the death of loved ones,
the back stabbing from my co-workers and church members,
the negative thoughts,
the lack of executive support;
I made it because I am blessed!

I release and let go of all past hurts,
misunderstanding and grudges
because I am blessed!
I recognize them as the distractions they are,
for God is all there is.
All else is  a lie!

Now give yourself a hug, wipe your tears and walk in victory!!!

Now since you are a true child of God,
you know that with every blessing,
a blessing is required!
So bless another, by passing this on.
IF YOU DO IT RIGHT,

God is in Control – A New Book by Joseph R. Mays

After years of setbacks and negative distractions, I have finally done something I wanted to do for a long time; publish a book of poetry. My first venture into the publishing arena is called “God is in Control“. In it you will find poems that will uplift you and caress your soul and let you know that those troubles you’re going through will not last forever. The enemy doesn’t want you to succeed, but with God you WILL succeed.

Kudos to Jennifer Hudson for Her Outstanding Rendition of the Star Spangled Banner

In what was a stellar return to the spotlight, Jennifer Hudson showed what made her a star in the first place. She showed courage and conviction in the face of the tragedy that befell her family. She moved past that and brought joy to me and the rest of the world with her rendition of the National Anthem at the Super Bowl 43 Halftime show in Tampa, Florida today. The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals were the NFL teams that fought their way to Tampa for a chance to win the NFL’s most prestigious prize; the Vince Lombardi Trophy and a Super Bowl Ring.

Jennifer Hudson belted out a soulful rendition that touched everyone. It is definitely a moment to remember for a long time to come.

Give Positive Support to People in their Dreams and Endeavors

Support people in their dreams and endeavors. Don’t put them down because YOU can’t see THEIR vision. It is THEIR dream, THEIR vision and THEIR plan and as long as THEY have faith in their endeavors and themselves, then they are halfway there. There are too many times where people spend more time fighting back negativity and it affects them physically and mentally. How do you know that this person won’t invent the next new operating system or a life-saving device that could save the life of YOUR family member?

Let’s cease and desist with the negativity and encourage our fellow man (or woman).

It is a new world, a new age and a new direction that we’re headed in. Let’s stay positive and move down the path to educational, financial, social and spiritual prosperity.
