It was a pleasant surprise after refreshing my page to find out that my blog won the “Blog of the Day Award” from Blogger.com.

A crowning achievement with more to come in the future. I am still new for all intents and purposes, but I will hone and refine my site to best meet the needs of my readers. I enjoy learning how to do more with this blog and with helping people find what they need.

Thank you to all of my readers and to Blogger.com and their staff for nominating my blog. It is an honor that I truly cherish and is indicative of what’s to come.

Check out American Solutions – Petitions

American Solutions has a petition campaign, Freedom Not Fear, to defeat the Employee “Free Choice” Act. I signed their petition and I think you should sign it too.

It would strip workers of the right to vote by private ballot when deciding to join a union, and it would undermine the right to freely negotiate contracts.

God Has Kept Me Here For A Reason

God has kept me here for a reason.
I survived because he has a plan for me.

All my bad supervisors,
the bad management choices,
the death of loved ones,
the back stabbing from my co-workers and church members,
the negative thoughts,
the lack of executive support;
I made it because I am blessed!

I release and let go of all past hurts,
misunderstanding and grudges
because I am blessed!
I recognize them as the distractions they are,
for God is all there is.
All else is  a lie!

Now give yourself a hug, wipe your tears and walk in victory!!!

Now since you are a true child of God,
you know that with every blessing,
a blessing is required!
So bless another, by passing this on.
IF YOU DO IT RIGHT,
GOD WILL BLESS IT RIGHT.

Print-on-Demand Means Profit$ for Entrepreneurs

Print-on-demand has made a new niche of home business owners. Creating products on their computers with little to no cost and no inventory. Companies like Zazzle and Cafe Press make it easy for entrepreneurs to slip behind a keyboard, create some products and market them to the world all with a couple clicks of a mouse. I too have become one of these entrepreneurs.

I have a digital camera, write poetry and have a creative mind. I am combining all of these these things together to carve a new niche for myself. I can market my poetry and my pictures to items from mugs, T-shirts to embroidered bags.
