From Paper to Patent – Birth of a Concept Design

August 10, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Hello Readers.

This blog entry is a very special one and requires YOUR input. You have the potential to literally change a man’s life. Most inventors give up a lot pursuing ideas. They put in long hours and exhaust funds and have a hard time in some cases getting people and/or support for their ideas. They are ridiculed and told it won’t work, but the determined ones press on despite the naysayers.

I am writing you today about Julius Long. He created and patented a concept design for fire fighting equipment. I have met him personally and am working with him in accordance with my promise in my profile. Evaluate the photos and the pictures for now and look at the patent drawings. A video demonstration will be added soon.

I am calling on YOU (my readers) to honestly evaluate and comment on his design/idea. I am asking you to also come back to this page and comment as well. I really need your help on this. I want to help someone see their dream become a reality. Won’t you join me in doing so? All that we are asking from you is your honest evaluation of his concept design.

Thank you ahead of time.

Yours in innovation and success,

Joseph R. Mays

08-08-08 – The Grand Alignment of the Calendar

August 9, 2008 · Leave a Comment

08-08-08

08.08.08

08-08-08 or 08.08.08 whichever is preferable to you denotes August 8, 2008.

An alignment of numbers on the calendar. It happens every year at the beginning of the century starting with 2001 and ending with 2012. It starts out as 01-01-01 to 02-02-02 all the way to 12-12-12. Numbers have always been a curiosity with people. Look at the lotteries. Most of our games are numbers based even if we don’t see the numbers.

It looks cool to see this year’s alignment and it occurs in my birth month which makes it even cooler.

We can plan for next year’s alignment on 09-09-09.

As always, I love writing for everyone.

Take care and have a very good weekend.

Sincerely,

Joseph R. Mays

For the Cat Lovers Out There

August 6, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Hello everyone.

Just a teenie little blog entry here. Just wanted cat lovers everywhere to look at the cats on this site. I liked it and it shows here since I am telling you about it. Check out the fat cat holding the remote control and looking at the TV. Cats are fun and are very cute when they are kittens. Three of our cats are in the picture below.

Yours in fun,

Support BeSomeone.org – Help Give Children an Alternative to the Streets

August 6, 2008 · Leave a Comment

In keeping with my promise to help people, I am delivering to you another story worth reading about. I encourage you to follow your heart after reading and do what you can to help. The way we all make it in life is to form strategic alliances and support each other wherever we can.

I had a chance encounter yesterday that brought this story to light. I will have more on the encounter later, but a substory in that encounter is the subject of this blog entry. Mr. Orrin Hudson, a renown speaker, is what I am talking to you about now. He created a non-profit organization called Be Someone (besomeone.org). He gives children an alternative to the streets, gangs and violence. He teaches them how to play chess. Chess, if you’re not familiar with the game, is all about strategy and moves. He shows them how to play the game and tells them about the consequences of choosing the street as their “game”.

We need organizations like this all around the country and all around the world. Some are fully funded and some are struggling with funding to keep them running. The individuals that run these organizations have a passion for their business and they believe in what they are doing. They also know that their organization is a positive contribution to the community. So let’s pitch in and help out organizations like Be Someone so they can continue to provide desperately needed services in our cities in America. You can donate or buy his book on his website. Either way you’re helping his organization provide services to children in Atlanta.

Thank you.

Yours in community and success,

Joseph R. Mays

Something else to help you reach you goals

August 4, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Hello readers. Joseph Mays here again with more information to help you.

I published a post as a draft on July 6, 2008 on my blog at Blogspot. I wasn’t ready at that time to complete it, but I finished it today. It did not go to the front page after I published it as I thought it would. WordPress is different from blogger in that aspect.

It is about making your money grow. I want you to have as much information as possible in that area so we will never run out of money to take care of our needs.

Anyway, without further ado, I want to give you the link to that post so I can share that information with you. Click here to go to that post now.

Yours in community and success,

Joseph R. Mays

The Watcher – He (God) Will Watch Over Us All – My World in Poetry

August 1, 2008 · Leave a Comment

I give the world my poem to help ease any pain or loneliness that someone may be going through right now. Please know and understand that God sees everything for He is “The Watcher”.

The Watcher

God is my watchtower;
watching over all that I do.
Protecting me from harm,
and watching every step.
For God is the watcher,
surveying the twisted road of life;
looking ahead and preparing me
for troubles, toils and strife.
And for that reason,
when the skies of life grow dark,
I shall not fear;
For God is the watcher
and he always be near.
