Mommy’s Gibble Gabble – Facing Post Partum Depression

July 31, 2008 · 1 Comment

This blog entry is about a mother’s ordeal with post partum depression. She tells the world about her experiences with this condition. I found it moving and informative. Her blog has a beautiful layout and I think you will find it appealing as well. I wanted to share it with you today.

If you as a mother have suffered or are a husband, boyfriend or significant other of someone who has suffered from Post Partum depression, please feel free to express your support for her. I personally know all too well about PPD and wanted to get this out there. It is NOT easy to deal with and care must be exercised to speed up recovery and treatment.

Compliment her page and give her your support. Thanks.

Yours in community and success,

Joseph R. Mays

Mark It On Your Calendar – America Saves Week 2009

July 31, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Choosetosave.org sponsors an event called “America Saves Week”. Each year around the end of February and the first week of March the event kicks off. It’s focus is on getting people to save their money so they will have money to tide them over during bad times and enough to live on when they retire.

The upcoming event information is here. Get together with family, friends and co-workers and share this information. The community as a whole will benefit. Less poverty means more opportunities for a healthier and more enjoyable life. It means kids will have more time with their parents who won’t have to struggle mentally, physically and emotionally to make ends meet.

Resources like Investopedia, Choosetosave and Sharebuilder make it easy to come up with a financial plan for your life. Everyone who wants the best for their family deserves the best out of life. I will do my part to help make that happen.

Sincerely,

Joseph R. Mays

Joel Olsteen – An Inspiration for the Masses

July 31, 2008 · 1 Comment

On Sundays all across the nation a warm charismatic voice carries over the airwaves and makes it’s way into our television sets and our hearts. That voice belongs to none other than . I fell in love with his ministry and his style of ministry from the very first day I saw him last year (2007). I follow him on a regular basis now and feel energized and spiritually uplifted after a service. It is hard to describe the feelings that overcome me when his sermon is on. It is as if God is talking directly to me through him. If you haven’t seen his service you are missing out on something wonderful. Tune in and experience it for yourself. is located in Houston, Texas. He invites anyone to drop by whenever they are in town.

Check out his new book:

Thanks,
